mean mode
median
The median is the middle number in a sorted, ascending or descending, list of numbers and can be more descriptive of that data set than the average. The median is sometimes used as opposed to the mean when there are outliers in the sequence that might skew the average of the values.
mode
The number which appears most often in a set of numbers. Example in 6, 3, 9, 6, 6, 5, 9, 3 the Mode is 6 it occurs most often.
mean
The mean is the total of the numbers divided by how many numbers there are. To find the mean, add all the numbers together then divide by the number of numbers.
